When we think of spring cleaning, we picture clearing out our closets, rearranging our cupboards, and getting rid of trash. All of that is super helpful and positive, not only for your living space, but for you energetically.
As within – So without.
The way you feel inside is reflected into your external world. The opposite is also true. If your home, car, or office spaces are filled with clutter or dust, it hampers your own personal vibration.
The call to clear, clean, and renew is instinctual. As winter comes to a close we all expand into the growing warmth of more welcoming months. We move more from our homes out and about in the world. Life just feels lighter. When you give away items, it makes space for new as well as giving you a feeling of freedom as your load becomes literally lighter.
Spring cleaning doesn’t have to stop with the physical.
Sit down and make a list of things that no longer serve you in this life. It can be anything from an outdated hairstyle, a habit you would like to break, going places that you don’t really enjoy any longer, even friendships you may have outgrown but still cling to out of habit. Make no mistake, this spring is a special one and its time to clean house across the board.
Even the smallest step toward a more streamlined happy simple life does you good. Release old thought patterns, meditate, spend time in nature, spend time alone, just simply be rather than having to have action plans and goals all of the time. It is also a wonderful time to do a physical detox. The lighter you are cellularly, the healthier you remain.
Place value on how you feel and really listen to it.
Begin looking at new ideas, new ways of thinking, new things you may enjoy – step out of your box and try new things. Adventures await!
